GRUB & FSC are growing with exciting plans on the horizon so we are now looking to expand our team as soon as possible, as a result we currently have positions available for an Assistant General Manager, Street Food Chefs, Duty Managers, and Venue Staff. About GRUB
GRUB started out as a market stall and since then has become an award winning multi site operator specialising in street food and more recently becoming one of the most active multi use events spaces in the city. Our current venue is comprised of three bars and a cinema over two floors and a beer garden with a total capacity of 500.
About Fairfield Social Club
FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB is a new mixed use live venue specialising in inclusive music events but also playing host to top class comedy and a range of other alternative events. FSC is comprised of one dedicated live venue space with a 300 capacity, opposite a public bar, private hire space and beer garden totalling 250 capacity.

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
We're looking for a new assistant general manager to join us over at GRUB and FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB both located in the vicinity of Manchester Victoria Train Station. This is an on shift role entailing the direct management of events and bars supervising bartenders and ensuring service runs smoothly.
This is a full time role (40 hours) with a starting salary of £28k per annum.
Required attributes
Previous experience in a assistant general manager role or strong supervisory role
A desire to work for a fiercely independent venue
Comfortable leading a team on shift and pushing forward standards and profitability behind the scenes
Must be a self starter and comfortable working independently

STREET-FOOD CHEFS
We're looking for street food chefs to join us over at GRUB, FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB, CAFF and a variety of pop up locations. This will be a hands on role working with our existing team to deliver and develop a broad range of menus and brands. It will involve solo working running a street food stall at times so the applicant should both love interacting with people as well as cooking. You do not need to be a fully trained chef for this role, training will be provided for the right person with some confidence in kitchen skills.
These are full time positions (40 hours minimum) with a starting salary of £26k p/a with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in the role.
Required attributes
Previous experience in a kitchen environment
A desire to work for a fiercely independent business
Comfortable working in high volume challenging events or venues
Positive attitude and warm, professional customer service manner
Ability to work to high standards of service

We're looking for new duty managers to join us over at GRUB and FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB both located in the vicinity of Manchester Victoria Train Station. This is an on shift role entailing the direct management of events and bars supervising bartenders and ensuring service runs smoothly.
There is potential for this to be a full time role (40 hours minimum) or a more flexible part time role with a starting salary of £12.45 per hour with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in the role.
Required attributes
Previous experience in bar, restaurant or event supervision as a minimum
A desire to work for a fiercely independent business
Comfortable managing people in challenging circumstances, positive outlook
Must be able to work as part of a small shift management team maintaining standards and excellent customer service
