Hello there! GRUB, FSC & CAFF are growing with exciting plans on the horizon for multiple new venues and large scale events so we are now looking to expand our team as soon as possible. As a result we currently have positions available for Events & Marketing Manager, Street Food Chefs, Duty Managers and Venue Staff. About GRUB
GRUB started out as a market stall and since then has become an award winning multi site operator specialising in street food and more recently becoming one of the most active multi use events spaces in the city. Our current venue is comprised of three bars and a cinema over two floors and a beer garden with a total capacity of 500.
About FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB
FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB is a new mixed use live venue specialising in inclusive music events but also playing host to top class comedy and a range of other alternative events. FSC is comprised of one dedicated live venue space with a 250 capacity opposite a public bar, private hire space and beer garden totalling 250 capacity.
About CAFF
CAFF is our team that handles all things food operating several different street food brands at our venues serving the public alongside private and corporate events. We currently also operate the food and drink provision at ITV Studios’ Coronation Street Experience. This year we’ll be expanding in to in house special events and trading at markets and festivals.
What’s next?
Beyond our current venues we are currently in talks to launch four city centre venues, a large scale outdoor event space and a new prestige marketplace in 2025 followed by our biggest ever multi use events venue provisionally scheduled for a Summer 2026 opening.

EVENTS & MARKETING MANAGER
We're looking for a new events & marketing manager to join us based at the GRUB office in the Green Quarter but responsible for all brands, venues and new openings across the business group. This is primarily an office based role but there will be regular requirements to be on shift capturing content and ensuring special events are delivered to a high standard.
The job role will a dynamic one dependent on the demands of the wider business group at that time. The core responsibilities would be managing all socials channels, high quality content creation, overseeing paid advertising, brand collaborations, website creation/management, existing and new brand development and internal event creation. You will be working alongside the existing head office team and directors, this will be a challenging role suitable for an ambitious and energetic individual.
This is a full time role (40 hours) with a starting salary of £28k per annum with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in role. Please include examples of your previous marketing work alongside your application.

CAFF STREET-FOOD CHEFS
We're looking for street food chefs to join us over at GRUB, FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB, CAFF and a variety of pop up locations. This will be a hands on role working with our existing team to deliver and develop a broad range of menus and brands. It will involve solo working running a street food stall at times so the applicant should both love interacting with people as well as cooking. You do not need to be a fully trained chef for this role, training will be provided for the right person with some confidence in kitchen skills.
These are full time positions (40 hours minimum) with a starting salary of £26k p/a with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in the role.

GRUB AND FSC DUTY MANAGERS
We're looking for new duty managers to join us over at GRUB and FAIRFIELD SOCIAL CLUB both located in the vicinity of Manchester Victoria Train Station. This is an on shift role entailing the direct management of events and bars supervising bartenders and ensuring service runs smoothly.
There is potential for this to be a full time role (40 hours minimum) or a more flexible part time role with a starting salary of £12.45 per hour with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in the role.
Required attributes
Previous experience in bar, restaurant or event supervision as a minimum
A desire to work for a fiercely independent business
Comfortable managing people in challenging circumstances, positive outlook
Must be able to work as part of a small shift management team maintaining standards and excellent customer service
