Here at GRUB we absolutely LOVE Spooky Season, and as usual we will be celebrating with a full week of spooky stuff.
Not only can you expect an eerily decorated venue, a special drinks menu, street food specials, tunes and LOTS OF CANDY, we’ll also be putting on a series of Hallowe’en themed events with something for absolutely everyone.

In the meantime, if you’re into scaring yourself shitless at the movies you should check out the programme for our upstairs cinema!
CULTPLEX have put together STAB Film Season - the biggest horror film season in the North of England - a full month of terrifying screenings!

FRIGHTFUL FIZZY QUIZZY

OUR ANNUAL SPOOKY THEMED ALTERNATIVE PUB QUIZ RETURNS! Come and enjoy a terrifying, completely original six round Hallowe’en quiz written by our own in-house quizmaster which can ONLY be played at GRUB during this year’s Spooky Season. First prize is a GALLON of Cloudwater’s Piccaddily Pilsner or a MAGNUM of Spumante. If you’re able to come down early on quiz night, don’t miss FIZZY HOUR where glasses of prosecco and Spooky Mimosas and pints of pilsner, cider, Lucky Saint beer will be flogged off at £4 each.

Floating Art’s famous Japanese painting workshop is getting a spooky Hallowe’en makeover. Whether you’d like to paint vengeful spirits of Japan or something more contemporary like Scream or Slimer these guys have got you!
